== Effects ==
Melee attacks against demon NPCs gain '''80% accuracy and damage''' before other combat modifiers. They bypass the Tormented Demon's ordinary demonbane shield reduction, but do not damage [[Doom of Mokhaiotl]]'s demonic shield.

The special costs '''30% energy''' before modifiers and makes '''three hits'''. A successful early hit sets the following hit to half its damage, rounded down; if it misses, the later hits get another damage roll. If the first two miss, the final roll can reach 150% of the ordinary maximum.

Damaging special hits can apply a burn, at a 15% chance when the first hit deals damage. If the first hit deals no damage, the remaining branch uses 30%; if both first hits deal no damage, the last uses 45%. Each successful burn deals ten one-damage pulses, four ticks apart. A target can have up to five active burning-claw burns. Later pulses stop if the target dies or is removed, you die or log out, or it moves too far away.
