You can also open the in-game task window with <code>::dailytasks</code>. Each task reward can be claimed once, and the all-five completion reward is a separate claim.

Leave space in your inventory before claiming. In particular, make room for the displayed item and coins. The completion item can drop to the ground if it does not fit, so claim somewhere safe and collect it immediately.

Each completed task gives its displayed item reward, coins and a random amount of Sarim points:

Finishing all five gives the displayed completion item and another '''2,500 to 7,500 Sarim points'''. You must claim the individual rewards as well to receive their coins and points.

Item rewards vary between assignments. Ironman accounts have their own item reward pools. The Tasks tab shows the items assigned to your current set.

Spend Sarim points in the '''Sarim Point Store''' through [[Sarim Shops]]. Sarim points are separate from [[Perks Menu|perk points]] and [[Sarim Achievements|Achievement Points]].

== Choosing an activity ==
Tasks are assigned from activities that fit your combat or skill levels. Check the full list before starting a trip.

* '''Combat:''' if a boss task matches a fight you can already do, combine it with your normal boss trip.
* '''Skilling:''' bring the right tool and make or gather the named item. Buying the item does not replace the required action.
* '''Several goals at once:''' check your achievements and collection log before choosing a task. You may be able to work on them during the same activity.

There is no need to finish a difficult boss task before claiming a completed skilling task. Claim the rewards you have earned as you go.

== New assignments ==
New tasks are assigned when you log in on a later server day. This replaces the previous set and its progress. '''Claim completed rewards before leaving them for another day.'''

A new set also resets the reward claims. Task amounts and item rewards are chosen again, so tomorrow's list may differ from today's.

== If progress is not increasing ==
* Check that the task is in your current set.
* Read the exact monster, item or activity name. A similar activity may not count.
* For skilling, perform the required action yourself rather than buying the finished item.
* Keep the Tasks tab open briefly so its progress can refresh.

Daily Tasks, [[Sarim Achievements]], [[Combat Achievements]] and Slayer assignments are separate systems. Completing a daily boss task does not automatically finish an unrelated Slayer assignment.
