New page

Gridmaster utility relics help with money, travel, supplies, clues and looting in Gridmaster on World 2. Claim them from their completed board rewards. They work alongside your other owned relics.

Use the board's Relics tab for Recall and settings. The
::gridmaster
command also offers Golden God's noted-shop setting and Loot Hound's banking toggle. See Gridmaster skilling relics for gathering rewards, production and permanent skill links, or Gridmaster relics for the full directory.

Golden God
Golden God turns Low and High Level Alchemy into a repeating money-making action. Alchemy needs no runes or Magic level, gives 15% more coins than the item's ordinary alchemy value, and has a 65% chance to keep the item. The coin bonus is rounded down.

Cast alchemy on an eligible inventory item to start. It repeats on that same inventory item or stack, including while you walk or fight, until the item is used up, moved or changed, a new alchemy action replaces it, or your character can no longer perform the action. Low alchemy repeats every 3 ticks and high alchemy every 5 ticks, subject to the normal alchemy delay.

Noted items use their unnoted item's alchemy value. Coins, zero-value items, free items and ordinary untradeable items cannot be alchemised. Leave room for the coins. Unlike ordinary alchemy, Golden God does not require moving to another tile after repeated casts in the same place.

For example, an ordinary high-alchemy value of 30,000 coins becomes 34,500 coins per cast. Keeping the item still awards coins and Magic XP, so one item can produce several payouts. The 65% save is a fresh chance each cast, rather than a guaranteed number of uses.

Noted shop purchases
Turn on Noted shop buys in the Relics tab, or Shop purchases noted in
::gridmaster
, to receive eligible coin-shop purchases as notes. The item must have a valid tradeable noted form and pass the same item restrictions used by Banker's Note. Shops using points or another currency are unaffected.

This is useful for buying a larger stack to alchemise. The shop's price, stock and ordinary purchase rules still apply. Items that cannot be noted arrive in their ordinary form.

Offering coins for Prayer XP
Use a stack of coins on a supported prayer altar. Each offering needs 20,000 coins and repeats every 3 ticks while you can continue. It gives 72 base Prayer XP multiplied by the altar's offering bonus and your current Gridmaster XP rate.

Altar !! Base Prayer XP per offering !! Coins used
Ordinary prayer altar || 72 || 20,000
House altar || 72 × its altar bonus, including lit burners || 20,000
Chaos altar || 252 || 20,000, with a 50% chance to keep them

At a 5× XP rate, an ordinary altar gives 360 Prayer XP per offering. A gilded house altar with two lit burners gives 252 base XP, or 1,260 XP at 5×. The Chaos altar also gives 252 base XP and rolls its coin-saving chance each offering. You still need at least 20,000 coins available for the next offering even when the previous one saved them.

Combatant can share the credited Magic or Prayer XP with two other permanently linked combat skills. Golden God's alchemy saves and noted-shop setting do not affect the coin cost at an altar.

Dodgy Deals
Dodgy Deals makes eligible pickpocket attempts succeed and starts automatic repeat pickpocketing. Normal Thieving levels, inventory space and the 1.5-second interaction throttle still apply. The repeat has no fixed duration, but stops for combat, a full inventory, an unavailable target or the guard's anti-theft check.

Eligible loot arrives noted. For stackable loot, its quantity is multiplied by the number of visible, available NPCs of the same exact type within 5 tiles of you on the same plane. The target can count toward this total. Only the loot quantity is multiplied; the action still gives its normal Thieving XP.

For example, a 50-coin result becomes 150 coins when three matching NPCs are nearby. This is a loot multiplier, rather than three separate pickpocket actions. The full rogue outfit's two ordinary loot rolls remain separate and can each use the nearby-NPC multiplier.

Stall stealing also repeats, notes eligible loot and keeps the stall available instead of emptying it. The supported repeat pauses 2 ticks after the stealing action. Normal level, distance, inventory, combat and guard checks remain; home stalls also retain their entry cooldown. Stall loot does not receive the nearby-NPC multiplier.

Banker's Note
Banker's Note lets you convert eligible items in your ordinary inventory without visiting a bank. Right-click an unnoted item and choose Note-all. Right-click a noted stack and choose Un-note 1, Un-note 5 or Un-note All. All must fit in your inventory; the exchange fails without changing anything if there is not enough space.

Note-all converts every plain copy of that item in your inventory. Unnoting converts the requested amount from the clicked noted stack. For example, 20 unnoted logs can become one noted stack, then Un-note 5 can turn five of them back into logs when five slots are available.

The item needs an ordinary tradeable noted pair. Stackable base items, placeholders, encounter-only items, items with special withdrawal behaviour, charge-checking or uncharging options, and items carrying custom attributes or a unique value are excluded. This protects the properties of charged and modified items.

It works in combat when you are otherwise able to act. It does not work while locked or dead, or while an activity replaces your inventory or equipment. Noting does not move anything into your bank.

Total Recall
Total Recall saves one location together with your hitpoints, Prayer points and special attack energy. Open the Relics tab and choose Save location, then use Recall to return and restore those saved amounts.

There is no relic cooldown and returning does not use up the saved point. Saving again replaces it. Recall restores the saved amounts, which can be lower than your current amounts; save while fully prepared for the trip you want to repeat.

For a supply loop, save beside an ordinary training spot with full hitpoints, Prayer and special energy, leave to bank, then Recall. Inventory contents, run energy, other skill boosts and potion effects are not part of the saved restoration.

Both saving and returning require an ordinary accessible area. Recall does not work in player-owned houses, dynamic instances, Chambers of Xeric, Tombs of Amascut, Theatre of Blood, Fight Caves, Inferno, Gauntlet, Pest Control or other tracked party/instance activities. The saved tile must still be accessible and free of blocking objects.

Recall is also blocked while dead, locked, jailed, frozen, teleblocked, waiting after a special attack, already teleporting or under an area's teleport restriction. Being in combat alone is not a separate block. Recall has no fixed Wilderness-level limit, but freezing and teleblock still prevent it.

Wayfarer
Wayfarer prevents charge use on supported teleport jewellery and prevents ordinary teleport tablets from being consumed. Use the teleport normally; no setting is needed. A one-charge jewellery item keeps that charge instead of breaking or becoming uncharged.

You must still own usable jewellery or a tablet. Normal teleport checks remain, including teleblock, the wait after special attacks, area restrictions and the teleport's Wilderness limit. Ordinary tablets use the level-20 Wilderness limit; dragonstone jewellery uses level 30. House tablets still require a house.

This effect covers the ordinary jewellery and tablet teleport routes. It does not give spell teleports free runes or prevent every other type of teleport item from being consumed.

Treasure Hunter
Treasure Hunter improves the ordinary monster clue-scroll roll and adds 1 extra item roll to each reward casket. The extra roll uses that casket's normal item table, alongside its ordinary item rolls. It does not add another bonus-master-clue roll or coin roll.

The monster-clue bonus is roughly triple the ordinary chance, with integer rounding. It applies after the Combat Achievement and Cluebound adjustments to this roll. It does not change clue bottles, geodes, nests or separately listed clues in a monster's item drop table.

Without those other clue modifiers, the ordinary clue rolls change as follows. These are chances per eligible monster kill, and the monster must meet the clue's combat-level range.

Clue !! Monster combat level !! Ordinary chance !! With Treasure Hunter
Beginner || Below 25 || 1/41 || 1/13
Easy || Above 25 and below 50 || 1/41 || 1/13
Medium || Above 50 and below 80 || 1/51 || 1/17
Hard || Above 80 || 1/61 || 1/20
Elite || Above 140 || 1/151 || 1/50
Master || Above 140 || 1/251 || 1/83

Higher-level monsters can roll hard, elite and master clues separately. Treasure Hunter changes their eligible chances; it does not make every clue tier eligible on every monster.

Loot Hound
Loot Hound sends eligible drops from the ordinary monster-drop route straight to your bank. Noted drops are banked as their base item. If the bank can accept only part of a stack, the remainder drops normally. If it cannot accept any, the whole drop remains on the ground.

Use Bank loot in the Relics tab or Loot Hound banking in
::gridmaster
to pause or resume it. Banking starts on when the relic is owned.

It does not bank Wilderness drops, encounter-only items or drops while you have a temporary inventory or equipment. Other automatic-loot effects can take an item first, so an item may still enter your inventory. In particular, Devout consumes eligible bones and ashes for Prayer XP before Loot Hound can bank them; pausing Loot Hound does not turn off Devout.

Loot Hound is useful for long trips, but check your bank space and the banking messages. It handles drops that reach this ordinary monster-drop route, rather than every chest, reward interface or ground item in the game.
