Help:Editing
Help improve Sarim Wiki by keeping articles clear, accurate and useful to players. For the template library, see Help:Infoboxes. For reports of broken links and other problems, see Sarim Wiki:Maintenance.
Make an edit
If editing controls are unavailable, sign in with an account that has editing permission.
- Open the article and choose an edit option.
- Make a focused change. Check the article's history if you need to understand an earlier edit.
- Preview the page and check links, tables and infoboxes.
- Add an edit summary that explains the change, then save it.
Write for Sarim players
- Start with a short description of the subject, then put practical instructions near the beginning.
- Use short sections such as Getting there, Fight and Drops when they fit the article.
- Check gameplay claims against Sarim evidence. Another game's wiki can help with presentation, but does not establish Sarim mechanics, requirements or drop rates.
- State conditions that affect the advice, such as account mode, boss phase or reward eligibility.
- Link to related articles and use the most specific appropriate categories. Browse Category:Gameplay to find existing categories.
Use an infobox
Choose the type listed at Help:Infoboxes, then follow its template documentation. Fill only fields supported by evidence. Leave unavailable fields empty; use 0 or No only when those values are verified. Keep detailed mechanics and full drop tables in the article body.
Discuss uncertain changes
Use the article's discussion page when a claim needs checking or an edit changes its meaning. Explain the uncertainty and the available evidence. Report broken templates and other technical problems using the reports at Sarim Wiki:Maintenance.
