Imbued heart (Melee) is a reusable inventory item that boosts Attack, Strength and Defence. Activate it before a melee trip or when you need to restore part of a drained combat stat. It can be used again after seven minutes.
Getting one
- Defeat eligible superior Slayer monsters. Unlock Bigger and Badder to allow superior spawns while completing suitable assignments.
- Open the Slayer chest with a Slayer key. The heart is one of its possible rare rewards.
- Open a Slayer mystery box. See Reward boxes and caskets for opening and reward rules.
The heart is tradeable. Drop rate and boosts explains reward modifiers; Lucklocked has its own reward-container rules.
Using the heart
Activate the heart from your inventory. It raises each affected skill by 2 + 18% of its base level, with the percentage rounded down. Each skill has its own boost amount and cap.

If a skill is drained, the heart adds the boost to its current level, up to the cap shown by that skill's base level. It does not lower an existing higher boost. For example, at base level 99, a current level of 80 rises to 99; a current level of 110 rises to 118.
- The cooldown is seven minutes for this heart. Reusing it during the cooldown gives a remaining-time message.
- It cannot be used in a duel with No Drinks enabled.
- The heart is kept after use and needs no recharge material.
Upgrading
The Item Creation Bench combines one Imbued heart (Ranged), one Imbued heart (Melee) and one Magic imbued heart into an Imbued heart (Overload). Read the recipe and failure rules before spending your hearts.
