The regular Consumables Store and Skilling Shop are unavailable to Ironman accounts. The Iron Man Store provides its own equipment, tools and basic supplies.

Useful first purchases

  • Slayer equipment: the Slayer Coin Shop sells an enchanted gem for 1 coin, a rock hammer for 500 coins, a nose peg for 200 coins and earmuffs for 200 coins. Buy the protection or finishing item your assignment needs.
  • Ironman melee: the Iron Man Store sells a rune scimitar for 25,000 coins and a dragon scimitar for 185,000 coins. Check your equipment requirements before buying.
  • Ironman magic: elemental staves cost 1,500 coins each in the Iron Man Store.
  • Ironman skilling: a small fishing net costs 5 coins and a bronze axe costs 5 coins in the Iron Man Store.

Start with supplies for one trip. Keep some coins for food, ammunition and task changes before spending the rest on equipment.

Currencies

Coins, Sarim points, Slayer points, Achievement Points, vote points and Donator points are separate balances. Check the currency beside the item price before buying.

Daily Tasks award coins and Sarim points. Slayer awards Slayer points for completed assignments. Sarim Achievements explains Achievement Points and its reward store. See Voting and claiming for voting instructions.

Some donor ranks reduce prices in the Sarim Point Store and Achievement Point Store. You may still need enough points for the full listed price before the discounted purchase is accepted. Other shops have their own rules.

Selling and shop windows

Talking to a shop NPC can open a shop window with Buy and Sell tabs. Selling is available only when the shop accepts items. The point stores listed above do not buy items back.

Check the offered sell price before confirming. Shop stock and prices can change, so buying an item does not mean you can sell it back for the same amount.

If a purchase fails

  • Return home if you are using the sidebar.
  • Check that you have the correct currency and enough inventory space.
  • Check your account restrictions and the item's requirements.
  • Reopen the shop if it reports that the stock or session has changed.

Plan supplies before buying

The Herblore, Farming and Construction guides list useful ingredients and tools for a training session. Check your mode's store and the quantity needed before purchasing. Reward boxes and caskets explains the difference between currency rewards and item rewards.
