An Echo boss is a private solo encounter with its own identity. These feature encounter-specific mechanics and rewards, differing massively from their standard counterparts.

== How solo Echo access works ==

Selecting an Echo boss creates a private instance for the player. No other player can enter or interfere with the encounter. This makes the arena predictable and allows mechanics to be balanced around solo play.
# Complete the encounter’s named Combat Achievement. Open <code>::cas</code> to check your completion record.
# Select the corresponding '''Echo''' destination in the teleport interface. The server checks the required task before creating your private instance.
# Prepare for repeat kills. Solo bosses respawn after roughly 10 seconds; leaving ends that instance.

An Echo arena is based on the boss's established encounter, then developed as its own challenge. Early Echo Dagannoth Kings testing, for example, shows visible hazard markers across the arena.

Forsaken Trials is the chained activity also known in older code as Dominion of Echoes. It includes a different roster and its own end-of-run rewards. Do not use these solo drop rates to estimate a Trials run.</blockquote>

Echo rewards are intended to be boss-specific rather than drawn from one shared table. That gives each encounter a distinct progression purpose.
Solo Echo rewards combine a coin floor, ordinary boss loot, a component roll and a rarer finished-equipment roll. The coin bonus is a separate '''1 in 26''' roll; it is added to the floor.

Echo bosses are custom solo encounters on Sarim RSPS. Each has an achievement gate and a dedicated reward path. Choose a target around your build and the equipment you want; the component drop rate alone does not tell you how quickly you can finish its recipe.

Choose an encounter

Solo Echo roster and equipment targets
Encounter Required task What the fight asks of you Equipment target
Echo Kalphite Queen Insect Deflection Melee first form; ranged or magic second form Nature’s recurve · Infernal tecpatl
Echo King Black Dragon Who Is the King Now? Ground hazards, prayer disruption and four minions King’s barrage
Echo Cerberus Unrequired Antifire Magic attacks, persistent lava and nine-soul waves Fang of the hound
Echo Dagannoth Kings Toppling the Diarchy Shared health, rotating protection and poison Devil’s element
Echo Sol Heredit Perfect Footwork Spear/shield movement, prisms and healing totems Shadowflame quadrant · V’s helm

How solo Echo access works

  1. Complete the encounter’s named Combat Achievement. Open ::cas to check your completion record.
  2. Select the corresponding Echo destination in the teleport interface. The server checks the required task before creating your private instance.
  3. Prepare for repeat kills. Solo bosses respawn after roughly 10 seconds; leaving ends that instance.

Solo Echo bosses and Forsaken Trials are separate activities. This reference covers individual Echo teleports and their direct drops. Forsaken Trials is the chained activity also known in older code as Dominion of Echoes. It includes a different roster and its own end-of-run rewards. Do not use these solo drop rates to estimate a Trials run.

What a completed kill can give you

Solo Echo rewards combine a coin floor, ordinary boss loot, a component roll and a rarer finished-equipment roll. The coin bonus is a separate 1 in 26 roll; it is added to the floor.

Dedicated Echo coins; ordinary loot is additional
Encounter Guaranteed coins Possible bonus Counting unit
Echo Kalphite Queen 250,000 1,000,000 Per completed kill
Echo King Black Dragon 300,000 1,250,000 Per kill
Echo Cerberus 350,000 1,500,000 Per kill
Echo Dagannoth Kings 200,000 per King 750,000 per trio 600,000 base per completed trio
Echo Sol Heredit 500,000 2,000,000 Per kill

Components lead to the Demonic Pact recipes. The seven finished items are untradeable. Component attempts and direct finished drops are separate paths; neither guarantees an item after a fixed number of kills.

Prepare for the mechanic, then the grind

  • Check the gate first. Bring the exact task name to Combat Achievements; its completion unlocks the corresponding solo teleport.
  • Match your switches to the encounter. KQ changes style protection; the Kings rotate which target can take damage. Read the individual encounter before choosing equipment.
  • Set your build at home. Review account perks and equipment attachments before entering.
  • Check recipe ingredients before chasing a component. A component still requires ordinary equipment and a successful upgrade attempt.

Current scope

The solo roster is Kalphite Queen, King Black Dragon, Cerberus, Dagannoth Kings and Sol Heredit. The linked pages keep access, encounter mechanics and reward counting together. No universal “best boss” or kills-per-hour ranking is assumed.
