Echo Kalphite Queen on Sarim RSPS uses a private, two-form encounter. The first form blocks ranged and magic; the second blocks melee. Bring a melee setup and a ranged or magic switch before entering.
Unlock and enter
Complete Insect Deflection: the Combat Achievement asks you to finish Kalphite Queen with Vengeance. Check it in ::cas, then select Echo Kalphite Queen in the teleport interface.
The two-form fight
| Stage | Implemented behavior | Your response |
|---|---|---|
| First form | Ranged and magic hits are blocked. At close range she chooses melee or magic; at distance she uses ranged. | Use melee to damage this form. Be ready for more than one incoming style. |
| Transformation | The first defeat restores her health and starts the second form. Damage is nullified during the transformation. | Use the transition to change equipment; the fight is not finished. |
| Second form | Melee hits are blocked. Her regular attacks choose ranged or magic. | Switch to ranged or magic and finish the second health bar. |
| “Bzzzz!” special | A special replaces every ninth attack. During it, moving more than six tiles from her centre can trigger ranged buzz attacks. | Keep track of your position and the upcoming style switch; distance alone does not make the special safe. |
Solo drop rates
| Reward | Amount or chance |
|---|---|
| Coin floor | 250,000 every completed kill |
| Additional coins | 1,000,000 at 1 in 26 |
| Queen’s recurve limb | 1 in 256 |
| Chitinous pact fang | 1 in 256 |
| Nature’s recurve | 1 in 1,024, separate finished-item roll |
| Infernal tecpatl | 1 in 1,024, separate finished-item roll |
The two components share one 1-in-128 roll: a successful component roll awards one of them, not both. Each finished item has its own roll. Rewards arrive after defeating the second form.
The ordinary boss’s guaranteed drops are included once, alongside a normal potential-drop roll. There is a separate 25% chance of one extra normal potential-drop roll. That extra roll does not increase the dedicated Echo component or finished-item rates below.
Turn the drop into an equipment goal
| Component | Additional ingredients | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Queen’s recurve limb | Venator bow (charged or uncharged) + Magic shortbow (i) | Nature’s recurve |
| Chitinous pact fang | Arclight + Tzhaar-ket-om | Infernal tecpatl |
A component is an upgrade attempt. The equipment recipe has a 50% base success rate, increased by your donor rank. A failed attempt consumes the Echo component and keeps the listed equipment ingredients. A successful attempt consumes both. See the complete upgrade rules before crafting.
Nature’s recurve can restore Hitpoints and Prayer from successful NPC hits. Infernal tecpatl has two built-in melee hits against NPCs and an additional demon bonus. Read the effect conditions and exact recipes before choosing a path.
Before your first attempt
- Put the two combat styles in a switch you can use reliably. A single-style setup cannot damage both forms.
- Carry enough supplies for two health bars; the transformation is not a loot break.
- Keep your chosen reward in mind. A Nature’s recurve component does not substitute for the fang used in Infernal tecpatl.
