Sarim RSPS uses its own RuneLite-based client, opened through the Sarim launcher. Alongside the game, three Sarim tools bring perk builds, teleports, drops, daily tasks and shops into one place.
Start with the Sarim launcher
Use the official Sarim download page. The regular RuneLite download is for the official game; it is not the Sarim client. Your Sarim account is separate from your Jagex or OSRS account.

Three tools to learn first
| Tool | Use it for | First useful action |
|---|---|---|
| Sarim Perks | Browse account perks, manage active perks and save loadouts. | Unlock your free level-5 perk, then equip it. Check that it is active. |
| Sarim Hub | Teleports, drop information and daily tasks. | Find your target and inspect its drops before travelling. |
| Sarim Shops | Browse shop inventories and make eligible purchases at home. | Check supplies and prices before you leave home. |
The three tools are included and enabled by default. Perk changes and shop purchases require you to be at home. The first-session guide shows how to use them together.
Account perks and item attachments are different systems. Sarim Perks manages your account build; the Item Workbench attaches effects to eligible equipment.
Launcher and game runtime are different
The launcher checks for a suitable Java 21-or-newer runtime for the game. If it cannot use one already installed, it prepares a separate runtime and downloads the client. The small launcher file is only the first download.
Check Play for the current tested operating systems, architecture choices and prerequisite instructions. Keep one supported installation path rather than mixing files from different client versions.
A short setup route
- Open Play and follow the instructions for your computer.
- Launch the downloaded file and let the runtime, client and cache finish preparing.
- For a new account, enter an unused username and a new password in the Sarim client, then log in. Existing players use their Sarim credentials.
- Complete account type, XP difficulty and the optional PIN prompt. Group accounts also need to join or form their group.
Find the stage that stopped
| What you see | Useful next step | Include in a support request |
|---|---|---|
| The launcher does not open | Follow the prerequisite instructions on Play. If a terminal command is provided there, use it to see the error. | Operating system, computer architecture and exact error text. |
| Runtime or client download stops | Keep the displayed error. Check whether the connection is available, then reopen the official launcher. | Which download stage failed and whether a retry changed the message. |
| The client opens but login fails | Confirm you opened Sarim and entered Sarim credentials. Check current announcements for maintenance. | The login message, client version if displayed and approximate time. |
| A perk or shop action is unavailable | Return home and finish any open interaction. Check that the perk is owned and that you have the required currency. | Tool name, selected action and message shown. |
Contact Sarim support with the relevant details. Remove passwords, account PINs and private chat from screenshots. If an error persists, report it rather than disabling operating-system protections or downloading an unofficial replacement.
Mobile is in development
The Android client is under development. Use the desktop download instructions on Play for the available route into the game; development footage is not a public mobile release.
Quick answers
Can I use my official RuneLite installation?
Use Sarim’s launcher and client to connect to Sarim.
Does every RuneLite plugin work here?
A RuneLite-based client does not mean every external plugin is available or compatible. Start with the plugins included in Sarim and the supported features shown in the client.
Why can I browse a perk but not change it?
Perk changes require you to be at home and finished with onboarding or other blocking interactions. Unlocking a perk also does not equip it automatically.
