Echo bosses
Private solo variants built around distinct arenas, mechanics, and reward paths.

An Echo boss is a private solo encounter with its own identity. These feature encounter-specific mechanics and rewards, differing massively from their standard counterparts.
| Detail | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Party size | Solo | One private instance per player. |
| Rewards | Boss-specific | Separate tables distinguish each variant. |
| Activity | Independent | Separate from Dominion of Echoes. |
Private instances
Selecting an Echo boss creates a private instance for the player. No other player can enter or interfere with the encounter. This makes the arena predictable and allows mechanics to be balanced around solo play.
An Echo arena is based on the boss's established encounter, then developed as its own challenge. Early Echo Dagannoth Kings testing, for example, shows visible hazard markers across the arena.

Reward rules
Echo rewards are intended to be boss-specific rather than drawn from one shared table. That gives each encounter a distinct progression purpose.
Individual encounters
- Echo Kalphite Queen — 1-in-128 combined component rate; drops Queen's Recurve Limb or Chitinous Pact Fang. Two 1-in-1024 paths to Nature's Recurve and Infernal Tecpatl.
- Echo King Black Dragon — 1-in-320 Frozen King Core; 1-in-1024 King's Barrage. Highest bonus-coin roll at 1-in-25 for 1,250,000.
- Echo Cerberus — 1-in-256 Houndfire Fang; 1-in-1024 Fang of the Hound. Stationary boss in a private hellhound instance.
- Echo Dagannoth Kings — Shared 1,800 HP pool; prayer rotation every 250 damage; spinolyp hazards. 1-in-160 Elemental Pact Sigil and 1-in-768 Devil's Element per trio completion.
- Echo Sol Heredit — Best component rate at 1-in-80; two 1-in-1024 direct drops. Highest-stakes encounter with the largest guaranteed coin floor.
Preparing for an Echo
- Learn the base encounter. Familiar movement, attacks, and arena geography provide a starting point.
- Read current mechanics. Echo variants add their own challenge; use the live encounter guidance as the authority.
- Build for the fight. Choose item and account perks for the arena rather than relying on one universal loadout.
- Protect supplies. A private instance removes interference, not the need for sustainable resource use.
Development and accuracy
The private-instance and separate-reward-table model is published. Exact encounters, mechanics, rewards, rates, and balance can continue to change. Check current patch notes and in-game information.
