K'ril Tsutsaroth is the Zamorak boss in God Wars Dungeon. He uses melee and Magic, poisons his target, and can hit through Protect from Melee. His main rewards include the Zamorakian spear, staff of the dead and Zamorak hilt.
Getting there
Choose Godwars Dungeon in Sarim Hub. Head northeast and cross the icy water. You need 70 Hitpoints and at least 70 current health to swim. Heal before attempting the crossing. Swimming back drains Prayer.
Collect Zamorak kill count, then enter the boss-room door. See room entry for keys, Godslayer, donator reductions and instances.
Bring a melee weapon, armour with good Magic defence, food, plenty of prayer potions or super restores, combat potions, a superantipoison, and a teleport. Equip a Zamorak item while collecting kill count; it does not protect you inside the room.
Fight
- Drink your poison protection and turn on Protect from Melee before entering.
- Fight K'ril up close. Keep your health above 49 so a full piercing hit cannot kill you.
- Refill Prayer promptly after a piercing attack. Keep Protect from Melee active against his normal attacks.
- When K'ril dies, kill his bodyguards, collect your drops, and heal before the next spawn.
His normal melee attack can hit 47. Protect from Melee blocks it, but sometimes triggers a piercing attack that hits up to 49 through prayer and Defence. The piercing attack also drains up to half your current Prayer points. Watch health and Prayer together.
When his target is out of melee reach, K'ril uses Magic projectiles that can each hit 30. Stay close for the basic melee method. His poison is another reason to keep protection active throughout the trip.

After K'ril dies, switch to Protect from Magic for Balfrug or Protect from Missiles for Zakl'n as needed. Kill the remaining bodyguards before trying the altar or waiting for the next boss.

Pet k'ril tsutsaroth has a base chance of 1/1,001 per pet roll. Pet boosts and extra pet rolls improve the chance.
Leaving
Kill the remaining bodyguards before using the altar to restore Prayer. Its restore shares a 10-minute cooldown with the other God Wars altars. The altar's Teleport option takes you outside the room. Use your own teleport when you need to bank.
