Jellified is an item perk made at Item Workbench. Its compatible equipment is listed above.
What it changes
An eligible incoming monster hit can be reduced, then heal back a fraction of the prevented damage one tick later. The strongest equipped copy is used.
Damage remaining and the heal amount are each rounded down. The heal is calculated from the damage prevented by Jellified itself, before other later reductions. Cooldown begins when it triggers, even if its heal rounds to zero.
When it helps
Reduces a burst of monster damage and helps recover from it immediately afterward. Because healing is delayed, it only arrives if you survive the reduced hit.
Worked example
At level 3, with no other modifiers, a 50-damage normal monster hit that triggers Jellified becomes 20. It prevents 30 damage, so 35% of that amount, rounded down, restores 10 HP one tick (0.6 seconds) later if you remain alive and online. At 60/99 HP, you fall to 40 and then recover to 50.
Levels
| Level | Effect |

| 1 | Chance per eligible incoming hit: 5% Damage reduction on trigger: 40% Heal as fraction of prevented damage: 25% Cooldown: 15 seconds (25 ticks) |
| 2 | Chance per eligible incoming hit: 7.5% Damage reduction on trigger: 50% Heal as fraction of prevented damage: 30% Cooldown: 14.4 seconds (24 ticks) |
| 3 | Chance per eligible incoming hit: 10% Damage reduction on trigger: 60% Heal as fraction of prevented damage: 35% Cooldown: 13.2 seconds (22 ticks) |
| 4 | Chance per eligible incoming hit: 12.5% Damage reduction on trigger: 70% Heal as fraction of prevented damage: 40% Cooldown: 12 seconds (20 ticks) |
| 5 | Chance per eligible incoming hit: 15% Damage reduction on trigger: 80% Heal as fraction of prevented damage: 50% Cooldown: 10.2 seconds (17 ticks) |
Limits and interactions
Applies to positive incoming monster hits with an attack style. Player attacks, healing hits, and unstyled scripted or environmental damage do not qualify. Works against qualifying monsters in the Wilderness and in Gridmaster.
Only the strongest head/body/leg copy counts; multiple copies do not add trigger chances. While its player-wide cooldown is active, no new trigger is attempted.
The delayed heal requires the wearer to remain alive and online. It cannot save a player who dies to the reduced hit.
Cannot overheal: healing stops at base maximum hitpoints and adds nothing while already overhealed. Gridmaster Last Stand relic healing lock blocks these heals; Gridmaster combat mastery may increase ordinary restored amounts.
Jellified runs before the permanent-reduction/Bulwark pool and separately from its 40%/60% caps. V’s helm can nullify a hit before Jellified gets a roll.
Attach and upgrade
At home, open Item Workbench and choose Perks Mode. Select the equipment from your inventory, then choose Jellified. The first application rolls a level from 1 to 5. Applying it again can raise its level; an equal or lower roll keeps the current level and does not refund materials used. Each attempt normally spends the recipe again; eligible donation ranks can preserve individual recipe entries. This does not change the level-roll chances. Level 5 cannot be upgraded further.
| Material | Full recipe | Remove Perk return |
|---|---|---|
| Refined Essence | 80 | 56 |
| Prismatic Essence | 45 | 31 |
| Resonant Catalyst | 5 | 3 |
| Ascendant Catalyst | 1 | 0 |
Stored and carried materials combine; storage is used first. The return column is for Remove Perk in Perks Mode. It refunds part of one base recipe to Workbench Storage, even after several upgrades. Disintegration destroys the equipment and its attachments.
Level roll chances
| Rolled level | Chance per attempt |
|---|---|
| 1 | 55% |
| 2 | 20% |
| 3 | 13% |
| 4 | 7% |
| 5 | 5% |
These are the chances of each exact rolled level. Selecting a level preview does not choose the result. Repeated attempts do not guarantee level 5.
