Raid Fortune is an item perk made at Item Workbench. Its compatible equipment is listed above.

What it changes

Increases the chance of an eligible raid unique or purple reward while the ring is worn. Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut use the factors in the first table; level 1 currently matches having no attachment in those raids.

The Forsaken Trials uses a separate bonus of 5% per attached level. Its base purple roll is 6%, rising to 6.3%–7.5% at levels 1–5 before other modifiers.

When it helps

Raises the chance of a unique reward on supported completed raids. Shared raids gain extra chance at levels 2–5; the Forsaken Trials gains extra chance at every level.

Worked example

In The Forsaken Trials with no other loot modifiers, level 5 changes the single purple roll from 6% to 7.5%. That is 1.5 percentage points, or 25% more chance relative to the starting value. In a 100-invocation Tombs of Amascut with no deaths or other modifiers, no attachment and level 1 give a 0.9% unique chance; level 5 gives about 0.9783%, an increase of about 8.70% relative to that starting chance.

Limits and interactions

In Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut, having no attachment currently gives the same 1.02× factor as level 1. Levels 2–5 improve on it before rounding and caps. The Forsaken Trials instead requires the attachment and adds 5% per actual level.

This changes the unique or purple roll, rather than which unique is chosen or the quantities within ordinary loot rolls. It does not change pet-roll denominators, Tombs of Amascut Cursed phalanx rolls or rewards inside separately opened raid boxes. Chambers rolls Olmlet only after a purple succeeds, so more purples can indirectly give more Olmlet opportunities; the other reviewed raid pet rolls are separate.

Chambers needs more than 1,000 personal points. Its point-based threshold caps at 45, or 20 for Olm-only raids. Integer rounding and these caps can remove an apparent improvement between levels.

Theatre of Blood requires nonzero damage for the unique roll. Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut round their reward-rate denominator upward after applying the factor. Tombs of Amascut also has a separate 90% check. Other eligible reward modifiers can apply independently.

Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut skip this attachment's unique-chance benefit in Gridmaster. The Forsaken Trials still applies its separate attachment bonus before its other drop-rate rules.

The Lucklocked Raid Fortune bonus meter is a separate system. This equipment attachment does not establish a change to that bonus roll.

Attach and upgrade

At home, open Item Workbench and choose Perks Mode. Select the equipment from your inventory, then choose Raid Fortune. The first application rolls a level from 1 to 5. Applying it again can raise its level; an equal or lower roll keeps the current level and does not refund materials used. Each attempt normally spends the recipe again; eligible donation ranks can preserve individual recipe entries. This does not change the level-roll chances. Level 5 cannot be upgraded further.

Material Full recipe Remove Perk return
Prismatic Essence 95 66
Ascendant Catalyst 5 3

Stored and carried materials combine; storage is used first. The return column is for Remove Perk in Perks Mode. It refunds part of one base recipe to Workbench Storage, even after several upgrades. Disintegration destroys the equipment and its attachments.

Level roll chances

Rolled level Chance per attempt
1 45%
2 23%
3 19%
4 10%
5 3%

These are the chances of each exact rolled level. Selecting a level preview does not choose the result. Repeated attempts do not guarantee level 5.
