Demonbane spells are Arceuus Magic attacks that only affect demon NPCs. Cast them from the spellbook, or equip a Purging staff and choose its combat-tab autocast option while on Arceuus.

Keep autocast runes in your inventory. Rune-saving effects can change consumption; equipment and combat bonuses can change damage. A Purging staff gives demon-target Magic accuracy and damage bonuses. Demonbane spells also damage Doom of Mokhaiotl's demonic shield.
