The Divine spirit shield is a tradeable shield requiring 75 Defence and 75 Prayer to equip. It reduces damage from NPC hits by 25% and drains Prayer points when those hits are processed.
Using the shield
Bring Prayer-restoring supplies when using the shield for a long fight. The cost depends on your current Prayer points. For example, a hit normally drains 11 points at 75 current Prayer or 12 points at 99. The cost falls as your Prayer points are used.
The damage reduction applies against NPCs. It does not reduce hits from other players. The reduction continues if your Prayer points reach zero.
Creating the shield
Use a divine sigil on an anvil while carrying a blessed spirit shield. This requires 85 current Smithing, 90 current Prayer and a suitable hammer. You can carry a hammer or Imcando hammer, or wield an Imcando hammer or dragon warhammer.
To make a blessed spirit shield, use a holy elixir on a spirit shield. The divine sigil is a rare drop from Corporeal Beast.
The completed Divine spirit shield can also be received from an armour mystery box.
