Fortune Hunts are three weekly objectives for Lucklocked accounts. They reward eligible monster kills, raid or source-box activity, and Fortune events. Finish all three to receive the weekly reward automatically.

These objectives are separate from Daily Tasks. Daily Tasks have manual reward claims; a completed Fortune Hunt pays immediately.

Check your Hunt

Use ::fortunehunt or ::fortunehunts to open the Luck tab in Sarim Hub. Read all three objective cards before choosing an activity.

  1. Build the weighted PvM score from eligible ordinary monster kills.
  2. Complete your assigned activity objective: Raid Circuit or Crack the Vault.
  3. Earn Fortune-event score for Chase Fortune.
  4. Make inventory space as you approach the final objective. Completing it can deliver the whole reward bundle immediately.

The week follows the UTC calendar, starting on Monday. Entering a new week resets objective progress and the weekly rewarded status when the Hunt next updates. The activity objective can differ between accounts and weeks; follow your own card.

Objective requirements

Objective Requirement
Fortune Hunt Earn 300 weighted PvM score. Stronger eligible ordinary monsters give more score.
Raid Circuit Complete 3 eligible raid reward events. This is one possible activity objective.
Crack the Vault Open 5 qualifying source boxes. This is the alternative activity objective.
Chase Fortune Earn 5 Fortune-event score from the events below.

Every account has Fortune Hunt and Chase Fortune plus one of the two activity objectives. Completing a named requirement stops that card's progress at its target.

Weighted PvM score

Use the highest row the defeated monster qualifies for. These points belong to the eligible ordinary-kill reward route; private Fortune Imp Champions advance Chase Fortune instead.

Monster strength Score per eligible kill
Combat level at least 300 or maximum HP at least 1,000 10
Combat level at least 200 or maximum HP at least 500 7
Combat level at least 100 or maximum HP at least 200 4
Combat level at least 50 or maximum HP at least 100 2
Below those thresholds 1

You do not need to fight the strongest monsters. Choose enemies you can kill reliably while maintaining food, prayer and other supplies.

Raids and qualifying boxes

Raid Circuit uses the Lucklocked raid Fortune reward event:

  • Chambers of Xeric: more than 1,000 personal points.
  • Theatre of Blood: at least 100 damage dealt.
  • Tombs of Amascut and The Forsaken Trials: reach their reward roll.

The raid Fortune roll may miss and still count the eligible completion. Leaving a raid before its rewards are generated does not count.

Crack the Vault counts opening Chambers, Theatre, Tombs and Echo orb mystery boxes. Every opening counts once, including Normal openings. Generic mystery boxes, other boss boxes and caskets are not interchangeable with these four source boxes.

Fortune-event score

Event Score
Lucky, Fortune or Jackpot opening of a qualifying source box 1
Successful Lucklocked raid Fortune bonus 2
Defeat a private Fortune Imp Champion or Gilded Fortune Imp Champion 2
Claim a Fate Choice reward 1

A Champion defeat followed by a Fate Choice claim gives both contributions. Simply selecting a persistent Fate in the Hub does not add score. See Lucklocked for the distinction between persistent Fates, Fate Choice and the two Fortune meters.

Weekly rewards

Completing all three objectives automatically grants:

  • 3 High Tier Mystery Boxes
  • 2 Slayer Mystery Boxes
  • 1 Reward Catalyst Casket

The completion also has a 1/10 chance to add 1 Donator Mystery Box. Each week's bundle is awarded once. You do not need to click a claim button after completion.

Rewards that do not fit drop to the ground. Check the ground at the place where you complete the final objective and collect the bundle immediately. If your last action is opening a box, make room for both its contents and the weekly reward.

See Reward boxes and caskets for the containers themselves.
