Venenatis is a Wilderness spider boss in the Silk Chasm. She combines melee and magic attacks with poison, prayer drain and a web that briefly holds you in place.
Getting there
Use the Venenatis teleport in Sarim Hub, then enter the Silk Chasm. The teleport destination and cave are in the Wilderness. The cave exit leads into the escape-cave network.
Fight
Fight from more than two tiles away and use Protect from Magic to avoid her ordinary magic damage. At close range she can also use melee, reaching up to two tiles. Her magic can hit nearby players in multicombat, so remain ready even when someone else has her attention.
Bring poison protection, food and prayer restoration. Venenatis can drain Prayer during the fight. Her web briefly stuns you and can deal up to 10 damage through protection prayers; it can land alongside a regular attack.
