Tasks from any difficulty contribute to your total. You do not need to complete every task in a difficulty to claim its tier reward, but you must claim the lower reward tiers first. | |||
Combat tasks also count towards the [[Perks Menu#Achievement_milestones|achievement milestones]]: completing 1, 5, 10 and 25 achievements grants an additional 10, 15, 25 and 40 perk points. These milestones combine completed combat tasks with claimed normal achievement rewards. | |||

Talk to Ghommal and choose to claim your next combat achievement tier reward. Each claim grants one tier's rewards. If you qualify for several tiers, repeat the dialogue to claim them in order. | |||
Rewards include instance tokens and scrolls. The following table lists selected rewards from each tier. | |||
{| class="wikitable" | |||

Monsters of level 141 or higher can roll hard, elite and master clues separately. Monsters at exactly level 25, 50 or 80 do not receive these bonus rolls. | |||

Combat Achievements are combat tasks ranging from monster kill counts to boss challenges and speed runs. Completing a task awards combat achievement points and perk points. The menu lists 419 tasks across six difficulty tiers.
Viewing tasks
Use ::cas or talk to Ghommal at home to open the list. Choose a difficulty tier and use the Uncompleted and Completed filters to find tasks. Each entry gives the task name and requirement; the tier panels show how many tasks you have completed.
Points and tiers
Combat achievement points determine your reward tier and are retained when rewards are claimed. Perk points are a separate currency spent on unlocking and upgrading player perks. You receive both when you complete a task; you do not need to claim a tier reward first.
| Difficulty | Tasks in the menu | Combat points on completion | Perk points | Points required for tier reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 28 | 1 | 2 | 28 |
| Medium | 57 | 2 | 3 | 142 |
| Hard | 62 | 3 | 5 | 328 |
| Elite | 94 | 4 | 7 | 704 |
| Master | 114 | 5 | 10 | 1,274 |
| Grandmaster | 64 | 6 | 14 | 1,658 |
Logging in recalculates your combat point total using 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 points per completed task, from Easy to Grandmaster. New task completions add the amounts shown above until your next login.
Tasks from any difficulty contribute to your total. You do not need to complete every task in a difficulty to claim its tier reward, but you must claim the lower reward tiers first.
Combat tasks also count towards the achievement milestones: completing 1, 5, 10 and 25 achievements grants an additional 10, 15, 25 and 40 perk points. These milestones combine completed combat tasks with claimed normal achievement rewards.
Claiming rewards
Talk to Ghommal and choose to claim your next combat achievement tier reward. Each claim grants one tier's rewards. If you qualify for several tiers, repeat the dialogue to claim them in order.
Rewards include instance tokens and scrolls. The following table lists selected rewards from each tier.
| Tier | Selected rewards |
|---|---|
| Easy | 10 instance tokens; 6 perk point scrolls; 10 Slayer task pick scrolls |
| Medium | 15 instance tokens; 2 damage boost scrolls; 2 damage reduction scrolls |
| Hard | 15 instance tokens; 10 Slayer task pick scrolls; 3 damage boost scrolls |
| Elite | 15 instance tokens; 15 Slayer task pick scrolls; 4 damage boost scrolls; 6 double drop scrolls |
| Master | 20 instance tokens; 20 Slayer task pick scrolls; 8 double drop scrolls; 4 drop-rate scrolls |
| Grandmaster | 25 instance tokens; 25 Slayer task pick scrolls; 25 Slayer skip scrolls; 10 damage boost scrolls; 10 damage reduction scrolls; 10 double drop scrolls; 10 drop-rate scrolls |
Perk point scrolls are items, separate from the perk points awarded for completing tasks. Read each scroll to redeem it for 1–3 perk points, plus any donator-rank bonus.
Passive benefits
Passive benefits apply as soon as your combat achievement points reach a tier. Claiming the item rewards is not required. The tables show the total bonus at each tier; bonuses from lower tiers are not added together.
Combat bonuses
| Tier | Maximum hit against monsters | Monster weakness buildup |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | — | 2% |
| Medium | 2% | 4% |
| Hard | 4% | 6% |
| Elite | 7.5% | 10% |
| Master | 12.5% | 20% |
| Grandmaster | 20% | 35% |
The maximum-hit bonus applies to attacks against monsters, including cannon hits. Fixed damage is unaffected.
Dragon warhammer, corrupted warhammer and Dogsword special attacks build up monster weakness. Weakness increases the maximum hit of Ranged attacks and powered staves, up to 50%. The combat achievement bonus increases weakness buildup rather than the weapon's Defence reduction.
Dwarf multicannon
The ordinary dwarf multicannon gains extra ammunition capacity and stronger hits. Extra capacity adds to your donator-rank capacity. The cannon-specific benefits do not apply to the ornamented cannon.
| Tier | Extra cannonballs | Regular cannonball max hit | Granite cannonball max hit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 0 | 30 | 40 |
| Medium | 3 | 30 | 40 |
| Hard | 5 | 30 | 40 |
| Elite | 8 | 31 | 42 |
| Master | 10 | 33 | 44 |
| Grandmaster | 15 | 36 | 48 |
The maximum hits above are before the separate maximum-hit bonus against monsters and other damage bonuses. For example, Grandmaster's monster-damage bonus increases these to 43 with regular cannonballs and 57 with granite cannonballs, before other bonuses.
Materials and Sarim points
| Tier | Workbench disintegration materials | Sarim points from monster kills |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | — | — |
| Medium | — | — |
| Hard | — | — |
| Elite | 3% | 5% |
| Master | 5% | 10% |
| Grandmaster | 10% | 20% |
The Item Workbench bonus increases material quantities from disintegration. Quantities are rounded down, so small amounts may receive no extra material. The Sarim-point bonus applies to regular monster rewards at combat level 100 or higher.
Bonus clue scrolls
Combat achievement tiers improve the additional clue-scroll rolls from regular monster kills. These rolls are separate from a monster's own drop table. The rates below exclude Cluebound and Treasure Hunter bonuses; Echo encounters use their own drops.
| Combat tier | Beginner clue | Easy clue | Medium clue | Hard clue | Elite clue | Master clue |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| None | 1/41 | 1/41 | 1/51 | 1/61 | 1/151 | 1/251 |
| Easy | 1/31 | 1/31 | 1/51 | 1/61 | 1/151 | 1/251 |
| Medium | 1/31 | 1/31 | 1/36 | 1/61 | 1/151 | 1/251 |
| Hard | 1/31 | 1/31 | 1/36 | 1/41 | 1/151 | 1/251 |
| Elite | 1/31 | 1/31 | 1/36 | 1/41 | 1/121 | 1/251 |
| Master | 1/31 | 1/31 | 1/36 | 1/41 | 1/121 | 1/201 |
| Grandmaster | 1/26 | 1/26 | 1/31 | 1/36 | 1/101 | 1/151 |
Beginner clues roll from monsters below combat level 25; easy clues from levels 26–49; medium clues from levels 51–79; and hard clues from level 81 or higher. Monsters of level 141 or higher can roll hard, elite and master clues separately. Monsters at exactly level 25, 50 or 80 do not receive these bonus rolls.
Getting started
Kill-count tasks can be completed alongside bossing and Slayer training. Use the Uncompleted filter to find tasks for the activity you are doing. These Easy tasks provide starting goals:
| Task | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Barrows Novice | Loot 10 Barrows chests. |
| Wintertodt Novice | Subdue Wintertodt 10 times. |
| Slayer Veteran | Kill 500 monsters on Slayer tasks. |
Sarim boss tasks
These tasks cover Argentavis, Malakar and Ophidia. Argentavis and Ophidia tasks require kill credit. Malakar awards credit to players who dealt damage and remain nearby when he dies.
| Task | Tier | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Argentavis Adept | Medium | Receive kill credit for Argentavis once. |
| Argentavis Champion | Medium | Reach 25 Argentavis kills, then kill Argentavis again. |
| Argentavis Speed-Trialist | Elite | Receive kill credit for Argentavis while off task, with a personal best under 31 seconds. |
| Avoiding The Storm | Medium | Receive kill credit for Argentavis without anyone being hit by its tornadoes. |
| Malakar Master | Master | Receive kill credit for 100 Malakar kills. |
| Ophidia Adept | Hard | Receive kill credit for Ophidia once. |
| Ophidia Master | Master | Reach 100 Ophidia kills, then kill Ophidia again. |
| Ophidia Grandmaster | Grandmaster | Reach 250 Ophidia kills, then kill Ophidia again. |
| Healing Won't Save You | Master | Receive kill credit for Ophidia while at least two healing snakes remain active. |
| Perfect Ophidia | Master | Receive kill credit for Ophidia without anyone missing protection prayers or being hit by soldiers or lightning. |
Argentavis Champion and the Ophidia kill-count tasks are checked before the current kill is added to your count, so they complete on a kill after reaching the listed target. Argentavis Speed-Trialist uses your recorded personal best, rounded down to whole seconds.
Avoiding The Storm and Perfect Ophidia track mistakes across everyone in the fight. Another player's mistake can fail the task for the group.
Perkless challenges
These Grandmaster tasks require no active player perks at the completion check. They do not require removing item attachments or pet perks. Unequip your player perks at home before starting.
| Task | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Perkless Inferno | Defeat TzKal-Zuk in a non-practice Inferno run with no active player perks. |
| Perkless Chambers | Complete solo Chambers of Xeric or an Olm-only raid with no active player perks. |
| Perkless Theatre | Complete solo Theatre of Blood with no active player perks. |
| Perkless Tombs | Complete a solo Tombs of Amascut raid at 300+ invocation and enter the rewards room with no active player perks. |
Echo boss unlocks
Completing the following individual tasks unlocks their Echo encounters. You do not need to complete an entire reward tier to enter them.
