Darklight is a melee demonbane sword. Ironman characters can buy it from Adam's Iron Man Store for 3,500 coins. Its melee attacks against demon NPCs gain 75% accuracy and 50% damage before other combat modifiers.
Its special costs 50% energy before cost modifiers and adds 50% accuracy. An unblocked attack drains the target's Attack, Strength and Defence by 5%, increased to 10% against demons.
Use Darklight on the Catacombs altar with three ancient shards to make Arclight with 1,000 charges. Arclight requires 75 Attack to equip. Arclight can later become Emberlight with a Tormented synapse, 74 Smithing and 10,000 combined charges and infusion.
Darklight can damage Doom of Mokhaiotl's demonic shield and kills a correctly styled ordinary larva in one hit; a giant needs two.
