Farming Guild is a Farming hub with contracts, crop patches, shops and a persistent seed vault. Use Sarim Hub → Skills → Farming Guild, then enter the section your Farming level allows.

Sections and patches

The gates and guild patches check your current Farming level. A patch's section requirement does not replace the crop's own requirement.

Farming Patches and services
45 Two allotments, flower, bush, cactus and the guild compost bin
65 Herb and ordinary tree patches; access to the anima patch, whose seeds require 76 Farming
85 Fruit tree, spirit tree, celastrus and redwood patches

The redwood's several clickable pieces share one crop. Celastrus and redwood saplings use their dedicated patches. Celastrus needs 85 Farming and redwood needs 90.

Guild crops use longer cycles than the fast herb patches outside the guild. Each growth stage takes at least 5 minutes for herbs, 10 minutes for trees and 2 minutes for other ordinary guild crops; a crop with a longer stage keeps that longer time. Gridmaster growth effects can shorten these cycles. Anima plants and Hespori have their own timers below.

Farming contracts

  1. Speak to Guildmaster Jane and choose a contract tier.
  2. Grow the requested crop in a guild patch. Crops outside the guild do not count.
  3. Check its health for trees, bushes and cacti, or finish harvesting an ordinary crop.
  4. Return to Jane with a free inventory slot and claim the seed pack.

A matching crop planted before assignment can count if you perform the required health check or complete its harvest after receiving the contract.

Tier Farming Possible crop types
Easy 45 Allotments, flowers, bushes and cacti up to level 45
Medium 65 Easy types, herbs and wood trees up to level 75
Hard 85 Medium types and fruit trees; crops from level 60 upward

Jane only assigns a crop within your current Farming level. You can request an easier unfinished contract one tier at a time. Claim a completed contract before asking for another. After claiming, wait 10 real minutes for a new contract.

Seed packs

Easy, medium and hard packs make 4, 5 and 6 seed rolls respectively. Make that many free inventory slots before opening the pack, even if some seeds would stack. Ordinary rolls give 1–3 seeds, with higher tiers using stronger seed pools.

Each roll in a hard pack has a separate 1/50 chance to give one celastrus, redwood, Hespori or dragonfruit seed in place of its ordinary reward. This is the chance for the four-seed group on each roll.

Seed vault

Use the seed vault to store crop seeds, seedlings, watered seedlings and saplings. Its contents persist between logins.

  • Use the category buttons, current-contract filter or search to find a stored item. Each page shows up to 30 entries.
  • Choose 1, 5, 10, X or All for transfers. Deposit all stores eligible items from your inventory.
  • Noted deposits join the ordinary item balance. Withdrawals are unnoted and need inventory room.
  • Items with attached attributes cannot be deposited. Stay close to the vault while using it.

Compost and protection

The guild compost bin holds 30 produce; ordinary bins hold 15. Fill a bin, close it to ferment, then collect the finished compost with empty buckets.

Use two volcanic ash on a bucket of supercompost to make ultracompost. Apply compost to an empty, raked patch before planting. Ultracompost gives half the disease chance of supercompost and improves initial herb yield.

Guild gardeners can protect eligible planted guild crops for that crop's payment. Choose the planted patch in their protection dialogue. The payment depends on the crop; for example, celastrus protection costs 150,000 coins and redwood protection costs 200,000 coins.

Bottomless compost bucket

Hespori can reward a bottomless compost bucket. Use regular compost, supercompost or ultracompost buckets on it in your inventory to fill it.

  • Each compost bucket adds two charges and returns one empty bucket.
  • It holds up to 10,000 charges. Applying compost to a patch uses one charge.
  • Use up its current compost before changing to another type.
  • Use Check to see its remaining charges and compost type. Storing it with a tool leprechaun keeps those charges.

Anima plants

Plant an Attas, Iasor or Kronos seed in the anima patch at 76 Farming. The effect starts immediately and lasts 80 real hours, including time offline. Anima plants do not become diseased. Clear an expired plant to plant another.

Plant Effect
Attas Adds a 5% chance to preserve harvest life on eligible produce, after the magic secateurs check.
Iasor Reduces eligible crop disease chance by 80%.
Kronos After a successful growth stage, has a 20% chance to credit another stage of growth time. It does not accelerate the anima plant itself.

Special crops

White lilies need 58 Farming. A mature, healthy white lily protects all allotment crops paired with its flower patch. Leave it planted while the allotments grow.

Potato cacti need 64 Farming and supply potato cactus. Celastrus supplies three base bark harvests after its health check; harvest-saving effects can extend the yield. Each bark gives 23.5 base Farming XP. Use a knife on celastrus bark at 40 Fletching to make a battlestaff for 80 base Fletching XP.

For Hespori, enter the guild cave, plant a Hespori seed at 65 Farming and return when it is mature. See Hespori for growth, combat and rewards.

Shops and supplies

Allanna's Farming Shop sells tools, plant pots, compost, plant cure, baskets and sacks. Amelia's Seed Shop supplies early seeds, and the Garden supplier sells bagged plants. These shops use coins and accept regular and Ironman accounts. They do not buy items back.

Guild gardeners also sell basic farming tools and supplies. Use the bank for your next run, and use a water barrel or fountain to refill watering cans and empty buckets. Tool leprechauns store farming tools and can note suitable produce used on them.
